Mr. Mókus (the founder of Psychic Mókus), was born in a strange land of sunshine, good waves, and plastic surgery, that is known to homosapiens as California. He began his musical career at the very early age of four, when he used to sing along to his vinyl records.
He later traded in karaoke stardom for a saxaphone, and attended a very prestigeous school of art in Los Angeles county, where he met many interesting characters, while studying jazz improvisation and hepcat philosophy. At the same time, Mr. Mokus studied the healing art of reiki, and is an initiated reiki master.
At one point in this early stage of his life, he became aware of an unsilenceable side of his artistic talent. It was then, that he laid down his horn, picked up a pen, and commenced upon a mad fit of peotic expression. Mr. Mókus became a respected part of the Los Angeles poetic community, published several pieces through a few different media outlets, and helped to run readings in various locations around the city.
As technology evolved, so too did the technology of sound, and I'm sure it will come as no suprise to any of you, that our lovable squirrel found himself drawn, once again, to the sonic side of life. In 1999, beneath a cabinet of speakers in the Mojave desert, Mr. Mókus came to the realization that if sound is vibration, and everything in the universe is vibration in form, then it is in fact sound, that gave birth to the human spirit. It was because of this moment of satori, that Mr. Mókus completed a course in sound engineering, and is now following a path of sonic dharma.
